Nothing personal. We never ask for your name, email, address, meter number, utility account, or location — and there are no user accounts. A line like “1,240 kWh · $231.28” identifies nobody. You type the numbers off your bill and they live in your device's local storage.
Kilo will never ask you to connect your utility account. Apps that do can read your address, your meter, and your household's schedule. We designed the app so that data never has to exist here.
Contract-expiry and “log your bill” reminders are scheduled locally by your device's operating system. There is no push server, and no token leaves your phone.
If you unlock Pro, the App Store or Google Play handles the entire transaction. We never receive or store card details — only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was made.
There are none. Kilo contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party trackers. It makes no network requests of its own.
Because the data lives only on your device, you hold all of it: export it as a PDF or CSV, or wipe everything with “Start fresh.” There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, because we never had it. Deleting the app deletes the data with it — keep an export if you want a copy.
Kilo is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
